As Tom Bradshaw on The Carrie Diaries, Matt Letscher is dealing with two teenage daughters in the 80’s.
His IMDB page trivia paints him as an outdoorsy type who enjoys golf, hiking, fishing, biking, rock climbing and camping. Man, it’s exhausting just writing all those activities… (Seriously.)
Guest Starring/Recurring/Starring: Letscher!
He’s a guest star du jour, nabbing parts left and right. Trust us, you’ve seen him on TV before. (And that’s without mentioning stage and the big screen.) His first TV role was in an episode of Saved By the Bell: The College Years. Since then he’s appeared on extremely popular shows like Dr. Quinn, Ellen, Silk Stalkings, NYPD Blue, Providence, Joey, Boson Legal, CIS: Miami, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Eli Stone, Entourage, Medium, Brothers & Sisters, Criminal Minds, The Good Wife, and Scandal. This looks like his first role on The CW network, though.
At the University of Michigan he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. Woo! Greek grunts!
Letscher is a writer. He both wrote and directed “Sea of Fools”, and wrote “Gaps in the Fossil Record” for the Purple Rose Theater.
You know how sometimes you fall into something? That’s kinda how Matt fell into acting. He picked up acting during high school when his parents said he had to get an activity or they’d pick one for him. (Dun dun dun.) His first audition was for the school play, and he used material from the play Don’t Drink the Water. He called the audition “exhilarating”.
We hope to get the chance to interview Matt Letscher in the future, and then we’ll have even more juicy goodies for you to learn about one of your favorite new TV Dad on The CW!
