Leighton Meester Performs ‘Somebody to Love’ and we Run Away
Can somebody please tell Leighton Meester to stop all of this singing stuff? Her Somebody to Love song has her mostly just talking and then autotunes the rest. The song, btw – is horrible. She doesn’t know how to perform and on top of THAT they give her unspeakably weird backup dancers. Meester seems like a little kid, trying out her Mommy’s stuff. Thinking that dressing funky will give her artistic credibly like Lady Gaga (who was on the Gossip Girl set this year) Meester wore a very WTF-worthy outfit to perform at some AE function. Look, it’s the 80’s and she pees tye-dye, can’t we just leave her alone? Ha. Even a pair of Jimmy Choo’s couldn’t save her.

She seems like she really wants to be Debbie Harry doing ‘Rapture’ in the first one. But, very obviously, no one else can really pull off Debbie Harry. oy.

I want to like her, but oh man I just saw those pictures again and am like ‘WHYYYY’.
