While everyone was busy watching Kourtney and Kim Take New York for signs that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were destined for divorce, a very different dysfunctional relationship took the spotlight.

I’m the first to defend that the Kardashian sisters do, at the end of the day, love each other. Whether it’s ever monetarily-motivated or not, these three sisters are good role models in that they always do end up as a trio of close sisters.

But this most recent episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York showed that Khloe often feels like Kim dislikes her. And it’s no wonder why. When Kim felt upset for a bogus reason (being woken up an hour early), she took it out on Khloe by writing her a very cruel e-mail. Keep in mind that Khloe didn’t do it to be mean and there was no malice on her part. Kim overreacted and apparently loves to swear. You’d think Khloe would have done something truly evil to deserve such hurtful words being thrown at her.

“How f*cking dare you. You’re such an evil bitch. How spiteful and jealous… How f*cking dare you, Khloe. You’ve crossed a major line with me. That shit is not okay, you dumb, evil little f*cking troll. You have no idea how much I hate you. You’re disgusting.” – Kim Kardashian, as read aloud in the episode by Khloe Kardashian

Khloe repeated in a talking head interview later that the words that stood out were “evil, ugly troll” and how Khloe is “jealous.”

Kourtney told Khloe that, “She is on one” (in a way that seemed to indicate that this isn’t Kim’s first time being like this) and to just let it alone.

Later in the episode Khloe confessed that she knew that Kim was always thinking these things about her, but she bottles them up. And I felt really bad for Khloe. It makes sense that Kim would project a sense of superiority and that Khloe would know that Kim is the most popular Kardashian and feel judged in that way.

But I also feel bad for Kim. She was clearly in a horrible mood because of Kris and her marriage, and she probably compares herself to Khloe – who has a really wonderful marriage with Lamar.

By the end of this episode, the two still hadn’t made up. Kim’s pride seemed to be in the way and she would hardly acknowledge Khloe, as though Khloe really was the one in the wrong. Hopefully we see Kim apologizing in the next episode.
