Katniss Everdeen Costume and Clothes from THE HUNGER GAMES

Katniss Everdeen Hair: Collect your hair into a long braid you can throw over your shoulder. A fishtrail braid is a nice option. Make it messy with a waxy pomade. Another trick is to have it start on one side of your head, then angle it so it ends up on the other side. This is what Katniss does in the movie.

Katniss Everdeen Makeup: Katniss doesn’t wear makeup for the majority of the movie or book. She’s got a natural look, so you can accentuate your lips with a clear lip balm, or lashes with a bit of brown mascara. You can also apply bronzer (to give the illusion of a sun tan) or blush over some mineral foundation. If you’d like to do more, you can apply a natural (matte) lip color to your lips. You may also use to define your eyebrows.

Katniss Everdeen Costume: A dark black jacket (with optional orange trim), pants and boots will simulate Katniss’s clothes. You’ll want a gold brooch with a bird on it to simulate the Mockingjay. You can also buy these in Amazon stores or on Etsy shops.
