She said this was about her Mom and wanting her to understand her, rather than how most people take the song – as boyfriend/girlfriend.

Jess said that Usher as a coach pushes your boundaries to make you grow.

I enjoy Jess, but I could tell she was going to loose. Her voice sounded flat, or off, to me. There wasn’t as much energy or feeling behind her words until the end. And I knew that would hurt her. Except, I was wrong, maybe. But Jess didn’t win the knockout.

Adam said it was the best he’d heard her do on the show so far.

Blake said he’d pick Jess as the winner.

She lost the knockout to Josiah Hawley.
