Hurricane Situation Synopsis: After a long and pretty eventful trip to Italy, the JS cast returns to Seaside Heights, N.J., in the Season 5 premiere episode. It doesn’t take long for old tensions to flare, as Mike “The Situation” once again gets in the middle of Snooki’s relationship with Jionni.

Vinny may not leave in this episode, but he does leave before the end of season 5. As Snooki told Jay Leno, “Uh, yes. Vinny left,” says Polizzi. “You’ll see through the season, but honestly we all get homesick sometimes, the cameras are too much, we’re like ‘ugh, go away.'”
