The Jersey Shore season 4 cast suffered while they had six weeks in Florence, Italy. Can you believe it? While most people on vacation in Italy would likely admit to a bit of homesickness, only our Shore kids could find so many things wrong with the beautiful country of Italy. Here’s the top five complaints they gave to US Weekly. (We even gleamed some Jersey Shore season 4 spoilers based off of what they said!)

Cobblestone Streets

JWoww, Snooki, Deena and Sammi had to wear flats on the historic cobblestone streets. “I could have done without the cobblestones,” says Deena. “They’re hard to walk on.”

Appearance Maintenance

Getting the required tanning time was difficult, says Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.  “Like I’m supposed to make an appointment. It’s not a doctor, it’s a tan!” And apparently Italians don’t need as much maintenance as American Jersey gals. Jenni “JWoww” Farley complained that, “Nail techs took four hours to do fill-ins. If we asked for pedicure, manicure, eyebrows and tanning, it would take 12 hours!”

Up to Hair

Pauly D had to plan in advance because,  “My hair gel doesn’t exist here, so I brought a suitcase full.” But Sammi didn’t plan ahead for the 220-volt current that Europe uses. “You couldn’t straighten your hair,” she says.

Jersey Shore Season 4 Spoiler Prediction: It’s doubtful we’ll see Sammi without straight hair, she’s certain to have figured something out. We’re betting we’ll see some of the girls trying out actual irons on their hair.

The Food

Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola noted that “Chicken parm — they don’t get that here.” And Deena was concerned about the pizza. ““The pizza here’s got a thin, thin crust. Barely any bread. The food you think is Italian at home isn’t.”

The Men

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi liks big gorilla juiceheads, but she didn’t find them in Italy. Of the men she says, “They were skinny!”
