If you were a fangirl holding out hope that Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris wouldn’t make it work – stop holding your breath! Ackles and Harris are engaged! They confirmed this first to JustJared.com but Danneel has also updated her Twitter with the word ““Yes… !” (Danneel Harris Twitter)

The newly engaged couple attended the Breeders’ Cup on Saturday in Lost Angeles. You can see Danneel’s ring in the picture. Danneel is styled impeccably in a red shirtdress, vintage purse and platform pumps. Ackles is wearing a suit, with a bit of stubble and a happy smile. It’d be easy to hate them for being so beautiful and happy, but I kind of just want to give them both congratulatory hugs! You know what else? Not that they have time, but I would totally love watching a reality show of this couple a la Newlyweds. But what’s that? Ackles has a busy career? Oh.

The 31-year-old Supernatural actor and 30-year-old One Tree Hill actress have been dating for about three years but have been friends for nearly a decade. The couple, who are longtime members of the WB/CW family, co-starred in the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero. – Just Jared with the boring facts!
