Majority Say NO to Watching Leno Now (Yay!)
TV Guide did a poll where they asked if they’ll go back to watching The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1st. The breakdown is:
- 69% – Used to watch, will not watch now after Conan O’Brien’s treatment. (This is me, too.)
- 15% will continue to watch Leno.
- 12% never watched anyway.
- 4% are undecided.
I am very pleased with these results! Dear Leno, you suck and you’re greedy. Sell your cars and donate to Haiti. The end.

Really. He doesn’t need a job. Jimmy Kimmel pointed this out – Conan has kids and stuff. Leno has nothing but cars and a wife who prob hates him because he works so much. He should retire.

Martin and I argued about this last night. I was like “No, Leno should have taken the high road and retired. Instead he just hogged the job and blamed it all on NBC.” Which it IS NBC’s fault, but Leno had the choice to “take it or leave it” and he took it. Conan left it, which means he is the one with the integrity. He wouldn’t even change time slots for consideration to Jimmy’s show. He’s a class act.

Yea. Leno should have known that Conan wouldn’t take that deal, and when it was clear he wouldn’t – he should have been the one to bow down. I hope Conan goes somewhere new eventually and we all watch and THEIR ratings go up tons. I like everyone better than Leno – Letterman, Kimmel, FERGUSON!!!

That’s great to hear those results. Glad to know I’m not alone. I’ll never watch anything Leno again.
Kudos, NBC. Is it possible to be the 5th place network when there are only 4? I’m sure you’ll find a way!
