IT HAPPENED? Margene and Ben on ‘Big Love’
On Big Love Margene is married to Bill Henrickson. Who is also married to Barb. And Barb and Bill have a son named Ben. Margene and Ben kissed. YEA. So…Margene kissed her son? Son-in-law? Step-son? The two are close in age, but Margene is probably too old to be kissing Ben even if he wasn’t her son. If he wasn’t, I could ship them. I used to ship them. But as Margene matures it just seems more wrong and wrong. Plus, there’s the whole she’s married to his Dad!!! I feel sad for them both, because I think Margene and Ben would be a much better couple than Margie and Bill. Bill treats her like crapola. But that is a line that should not be crossed.
Margene! How dare she kiss Ben?! Please tell me Big Love will fix this. — Barrie

I think the line should be crossed. I’ve waiting for this since season one. Ben and Margene look very good together. I think they should go for it.

I think they are awesome together, and while this show is a drama and fictionalized they still try to acurately portray some of the complications that go along with polygamy. This is why older son’s are usually ran out of their homes (much like Bill was as a teen.) Then again I think Bill is a d****e anyways and they should all wise up and leave him lol.

I think Margene/Ben are very cute together, and it means lots of drama and more screen time for them both – yay!

I am loving this sub-plot and I hope it continues. From the looks of the previews, Ben is leaving the house. My ideal story line would be: Ben should reach out to Margene to tell her that he left the house for the sake of her and Bills relationship. She should insist on meeting him to discuss the decision-with the guise of giving him some of her newly earned fortune to tide him over. Of course this should happen under the cover of darkness and they should have a steamy sex scene to get it out of their systems. Why should Bill have all the fun in the house?
