No, BlueBell Alabama does not seem to exist outside of the fictional TV show Hart of Dixie. (There is a Blue Bell Creameries in Alabama, though.) But in terms of the fictional side, The CW has even created a Town Website: http://bluebell.cwtv.com. There you can find a Mayor’s Statement by Lavon Hayes, Police Logs, a Pet of the Week, Calendar, Local Merchants page and a collection of blogs written by people who live in BlueBell.
So, check out a recap of the Watermelon Festival on Rose’s blog, get love advice in the Ask Susie column, and catch up on a review of The Butter Stick restaurant. The local BlueBell calendar says we can look forward to the Gumbo Cookoff, Apple Festival (they sure do like their fruit-based festivals), and an Acapella concert by Noteworthy (which is the name of a real acapella group that was on The Sing-Off.)
