What a let down! I watched HIGH SOCIETY without much hope of it being good, but it was bad for a bad reality TV show. It’s basically THE JERSEY SHORE, set in Manhattan.
Even the editing of the show was ridiculous. It was confusing, seemed out of order, and cheesy as hell.
Tinsley Mortimer seems like the only sane person on the show, but how sane IS she to do this show. Methinks she wants more fame/money. I wonder if her friends know that the show is being billed with the concept of “Tinsley is nice and normal, everyone else in her life is batshit insane.”
HIGH SOCIETY is a horrible disaster of a show with a disgustingly greedy, sadly ignorant cast. It made me miss that reality show with Britney Spears. The people are so mean spirited I couldn’t even enjoy this as a guilty pleasure show, because it just makes me feel upset and angry watching these idiots.
One character I’ll note, Jules Kirby, looks like Courtney Love. And she’s apparently burned down her families house, and faked cancer to get money.
The only other thing I can say about Tinsley Mortimer is… 1) why isn’t she changing her last name? 2) her voice sounds exactly like Heidi Pratt’s.
I will not be watching this show ever again.

I felt the exact same way. The show sucked big time and I won’t waste my time again.

I thought Jules Kirby was really funny but insane. I don’t think that was JPC’s actual mom- what mother would agree to this. Tinsley’s face lifted mom is one thing- her daughters are on the more down to earth side of the show and she is insane too- but his mother looked completely normal and pragmatic. I don’t know- such a wierd experience watching it- oh and Tinsley is not going to changer her last name most likely because she considers it her “brand”

Tinsley and her sister seem more sane than their mother. I feel bad for them. And I understand why Tinsley won’t change her name, I guess I feel bad that she has to carry around a name of someone she isn’t with anymore. Sad.
