Tonight on Hart of Dixie, Zoe Hart is going to get some answers from her mama! And, of course, she’ll do it in style!

Zoe (Rachel Bilson) has two outfits in “The Undead & The Unsaid” that I really love. The first is kind of sporty, and reminds me of J-Crew. And, it should, because the pink and navy stripped leggings are actually from JCrew. She’s completed this casual, sporty look by slipping on some vintage riding boots (what, you don’t have a pair just lying around?!) and a Vince teal colored sweater in a chunky knit. It’s the perfect lounge-around-the-house outfit.
The other outfit I spy and covet involves a Veda jacket with a black and white graphic pattern. It elevates an outfit of simple, rolled up at the cuff jeans (J Brand, of course), a white blouse (James Perse) and blackboots (Michael Kors.)
When we move on to the fashion Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) is giving us… I’m a little less sold. Of course, Lemon has a very specific style that you can’t imagine most people wearing. She’s a very traditional woman. I thik I would wear that vintage blue dress with a different cardigan, and I’d skip the flower hair clip but leave the Beck earrings because they give a nice pop of color. Aside from the front tied cardigan and magenta flower clip, I’m baffled by the flats. Doesn’t this outfit scream for wedge sandals, or something with a bit of a heel? Oh – but the handbag she’s holding looks nice and it’s from Forever 21. You can bet that’s affordable.
In another scene Lemon is very dressed to the nines in shades of cream, all pearls and polite smiles. The textured Jill Stuart dress on its own is great, but accessorized with a Marc by Marc Jacobs cardigan that is already embellished gives too much busyness to the outfit. On top of that, Lemon is wearing a Flutter necklace and white hair clip. The pearlescent Valentino shoes are perfect, and I believe they might even be ankle straps!
Hart of Dixie fashion this week is mixing a lot of J-Crew, vintage and Forever 21. And, as always, there’s a lot of Marc Jacobs on Zoe. I’d like to see Lemon in some Rebecca Taylor, Cynthia Rowley and Nanette Lepore.
