GOSSIP GIRL – Season 6, Episode 8 – “It’s Really Complicated” Review – I have a plan, and it’s working…
| December 3, 2012 at 10:02 PM ESTLeighton Meester will never live down that tacky Pocahontas costume. But that’s not all we got in this episode. So, here’s what else stood out in the Gossip Girl Season 6 Episode 8 – “It’s Really Complicated”.
The Sage Style Files
Sage, Sage, Sage… (Sofia Black D’Elia) I can’t say I appreciate her character all that much. But her outfit in the beginning of this episode was pretty great. Specifically, her layered necklaces.
Great Balls of Fire, it’s Georgina Sparks
Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) is undefeated in terms of being an underused and under-appreciated character on Gossip Girl. I loved her outfits, major blinged out jewelry and how she interacts with “little bed wetters”.
Blair as Stripper Pocahontas
It’s totally absurd, and I’m not even … you know what? I’m speechless. But she wasn’t. Here are some of the quotes Blair said: “Did somebody order a Thanksgiving spread.” There was also, “It’s been too long since Monaco, Pocahontas needs her John Smith.”
The Original Breakfast Club
Once again, Dan is an outsider and Serena, Nate, Blair and Chuck are the “original breakfast club” who get together. Though I abhor the idea of them being so damn elitist, I love a good Scooby gang group… It almost reminds me of the first season when they grouped together to help Serena. Although it’s too bad they never let Dan play in their reindeer games.
So, Chuck and Blair are at war, and Dan has some ultimate plan. What are you most excited to see unfold?
