Blake Lively and Leighton Meester look superbly happy in these pictures of the duo filming for Gossip Girl season 4 over in Paris, France. They were there on July 5th, dressed very much for their respective parts.

Why does Blair think that to be Parisian and more free she should take her fanciest frock items and mismatch them? It’s possible this is just a dress based on the fabric texture  (in which case I would ask WHY did someone make it like this), but it could also be a halter top, bubble skirt, and belt in three contrasting and mismatched prints.

While Serena has opted for a summery fedora, Blair has a thinly woven beret. Two matching cuffs, a chain link patchwork purse, and black sandals complete her look. We usually prefer Blair’s outfits over anyone else’s, and while Leighton makes it look cute, this get-up is not all that attractive.

Gossip Girl is scheduled to return Monday, September 13th on The CW!
