How Gisele Bundchen Surpassed Actual Super Bowl News
| February 6, 2012 at 3:35 PM ESTIt’s fun to take a gauge of what people are thinking when you glance at what’s trending on Twitter. The day after the 2012 Super Bowl, you expect to see that it’s trending. It was a huge event, after all. And although it was nice to see Supermodel Gisele Bundchen at the game, she wasn’t all that important when you went to bed that night. (Unless you were dreaming of her, but that’s between you and your God.)
But today people are talking about Gisele, and it’s not just because she’s a leggy model.
We all know that she’s married to New England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady. (Yes, they’re a rich, beautiful couple. Feel like hurling?) But we didn’t realize how mad she would be that her husbands’ team lost. Nor did we realize that she’d blame the other players. That’s right.
She was caught on camera saying, “My husband can not f!*ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.” She continued, “I can’t believe they dropped the ball so many times.” Who’s “They”? The Patriot’s receivers.
In checking out Gisele’s official twitter, she hasn’t posted since last Friday when she encouraged her followers to watch a video for Versace jeans. Doesn’t she have a comment about her comment? She doesn’t yet, and with good reason.
Her comment was not supposed to be official, it was overheard in an elevator as she left her VIP suite. You can watch the video on The Insider.
Is it fair to use this against Bundchen? (Even if she knew the camera was there?) Is it really news that the wife of a player would be pessimistic and upset after his team lost the Super Bowl? Is it any of our business what she says in a frustrated moment like that?
So our question is, after seeing this, how do you feel about Gisele? More positive, more negative, or totally apathetic?
Don’t worry, we’ve got a poll so you can be super lazy about telling us your opinion.
