Faith & Buffy Merge into One
On screen, Buffy Summers and Faith Lehane pretty much always had a grudge against each other. That’s what happens when you try to kill each other – take note! But fellow Sunnydale resident “Willow” (Alyson Hannigan) has found that in an alternate reality Faith and Buffy must have merged into one person. This person – presumably an actress – looks a lot like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku.

Not only Gellar is named Sarah. Wouldn’t be that “actress” who is called Sarah and who would play in HIMYM with Alyson?

Giles – I’m not sure what you mean… that picture is not SMG, someone on the set of HIMYM. I think she must have been an actress of some sort, but maybe she was just visiting or part of the crew.

I mean that there is 90% chance that it was Sarah Chalke on the picture made by Alyson (before the editing) because they are currently working together. When talking of Sarah I don’t beleive she was talking of SMG she had not met for 5 years may be.

Giles – You’re confused. I’m not sure whether English is your first language or not but what people are saying is that this random person looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku mixed together. And yes, Alyson did mean Sarah Michelle Gellar, not Sarah Chalke. You can read the responses on her twitter about the picture. Alyson might not have worked with Sarah Michelle in a long while but she has had contact with her. She mentioned that she sent Sarah Michelle a congrats on her daughter’s birth and that Sarah Michelle wrote her back. Not only that but Alyson hasn’t worked with Eliza Dushku in a long time either but who else would she be referring to besides Eliza (who played Faith) and Sarah (who played Buffy)? It obviously looks like both Sarah Michelle and Eliza, so it’s also pretty obvious who she was talking about.

I don’t know any answer from Alyson that would confirm your hypothesis. And it is not because many people say the same thing on the net that they are right (they may be all fans of Buffy and still obsessed by it). Alyson is no longer in this phase. If Alyson talked recently about SMG it is because she has been explicitely asked about her. I never heard her talking about SMG upon her own choice since years. On the other hand she has probably seen recently Eliza when Alexis worked with her. And she was that day with Sarah Chalke. So she could have her pics on her IPhone to do this fake. This is why I think more plausible that Alyson was talking about Sarah Chakes than SMG. Only Alyson could convince me of the contrary.

Giles – She was referring to Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushku.
There’s no arguing about this considering it’s kind of obvious. You can go ahead and ask Alyson yourself if you’ve got a twitter.

Giles – Also, Alyson has mentioned Sarah on twitter before and does mentioned BtVS cast members now and again. The last time she mentioned her was a few months ago when Sarah had her baby.

Besides, Alyson isn’t working with Sarah Chalke anymore so it isn’t her. It’s obvious she’s talking about SMG & Eliza Dushku.
