When you tune into the series premiere of Saving Hope (NBC) you’ll hear a great Emma-Lee song during the final scene. It’s like a sweet, confessional lullaby.
The name of the song is “I Could Live With Dying Tonight.” Hear about her inspiration via her own words in a newsletter:
A couple summers ago I played a really memorable show at a little venue in Toronto called “The Cameron House”. It was one of those shows that made me feel great about what I was doing (which can sometimes be a rarity for us music folk). I went home that night and wrote down a song title idea – “I Could Live With Dying Tonight” – because in that moment I felt totally satisfied with how I was living each moment of my life. The next day, my lovely friend Jill Barber came over to write with me, I presented the title and a few hours later we wrote THIS. It’s still one of my favourite songs on the record and tonight it will be in the premiere episode of a new TV show called “Saving Hope”. You can tune in tonight on CTV/NBC – it’s in the final scene! – Emma-Lee
We can’t wait to hear what you think of the show, and the song! (It has Daniel Gillies who we know as Elijah on The Vampire Diaries!)
