Emma Caulfield of Buffy the Vampire Slayer loves Lost
| May 24, 2010 at 3:18 AM EDTWho knew that Emma Caulfield was such a Lost fan? Apparently I would have, if I’d been paying better attention! The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress has a new movie named Timer, but is content to meet up with old Buffy pals and gush about Lost.
I don’t check my Twitter(s) as often as I should, that’s for sure. But I happened to have just made brownies and sit down to read my feed when I saw a tweet by Emma Caulfield. You might know her best as Anya on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I definitely wish I could call her my best friend, but stalking her from afar is working out well for me!
The tweet that caught my eye said this: the most epic beautiful gut tearing awe inspiring storytelling I’ve ever seen. you are already missed. Apparently, it’s no secret that she’s a Lost fan. Two other previous tweets were about the show: “end of epic show tonight. seriously going to miss the genius the is Lost” and “LOST. Did that all really just happen? Shocked. Sad. Rapturous devotion to that entire creative team.” It’s like one of those moments from a magazine where they say “celebrities are just like real people, they also tweet about their devotion to TV series.” Which is always nice to see, since that’s mostly all I do.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets …NOVA on PBS?
And if you happen to look at another one of her tweets you’ll notice she’s in a new movie, that the New York Times critics list put at number one. An event she likened to, ” being accepted into Harvard or being asked to be a Freemason.” Adding, “rad.” The movie Caulfield is in, Timer, does look pretty amazing. PopWrap recently interviewed her to promote the movie. Aside from talking about Timer, old friend Kali Rocha (Vengeance demon Halfreck aka Hallie on Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Lost “best show ever” – they talked about crazy fan encounters.
Busy Philipps, Tom Lenk and Common Rotation on the SAME Night?
“I actually had someone tattoo my signature on their body. That was kind of weird, like why would they want my signature? I guess that means I’m always with them.” That’s definitely creepy. Buffy fans may be loyal, but who did THAT? Fess up.
