Emily Thorne’s House and Bedroom on Revenge – Match the decor themes and get the look for less
| May 12, 2013 at 9:38 PM EDTOne of the things I love about Revenge is the decor, bedrooms, and houses that we see in the Hampton’s. Naturally, Emily’s beach house is my favorite. And in time for the season 2 finale, I’ve put together this post about what makes that house so great…aside, of course, from the great location. (Great for swimming and spying on the Grayson’s!)

The colors and textures of the bedroom and living room (the two main areas) are actually pretty similar:
The color palette: taupe, beige, pearl, whites, creams, ivory’s, washed-out grays, warm browns and touches of yellow, and then a lot of green and blue….
The materials: natural linen (bleached or pale colored), jute, burlap, coral, patina and aged surfaces, hearty wooden furniture pieces everywhere – curved lines, white wrought iron, beadboard planks…
Benjamin Moore color suggestions: bathsalts, mountainview, at sea, pistachio, deep sea green, blue stream, dusky blue, fantasy blue, windy sky, azores, greenwich village, dill weed, guilford green, scenic drive, stolen moments, stratton blue, ylang ylang, mellowed ivory, lancaster whitewash, nantucket gray, clay beige, hazy skies, ashwood, lemon chiffon, gray owl, baby fawn, woodlawn blue, palladian blue, november rain…
