I reckon the season finale will be a race against time to find Estrada. Maria will want to find him as the shipping container incident is the only way she can prove Dex is the BBH (especially after the burning of the slides), and Dexter will want to kill him; more so now that he is a witness.

The scene in the preview with Dexter in cuffs is most likely real. But I think something will come out of left field to save Dex; such as the fact her investigation hasn’t been done properly (stealing evidence, etc), or maybe even Deb handles it? I’m not sure how it’ll go down, but I’m confident the set-up’s won’t be as misleading as it seems.

I was hoping Dexter wouldn’t go for Estrada, i had a feeling that with LaGuerta on his tail, it would be a bad move long term. I wasn’t expecting the setup though, a brilliant, but very unethical move.

The one thing on my mind is how will Dexter get himself out of this mess? The previews show Dexter being arrested, Hannah telling Deb she knows about her knowledge with the whole thing. Here are a few theories (Trying to guess what the writers will do for this show is tough). 1. Dexter isn’t arrested for the bay harbor butcher case. I think its something else. Maybe assault on Estrada? 2. If he is arrested, it would mean that either Hannah or Estrada ratted him out. Now, obviously this would create problems. Hannah has a conflict of interest with her being with Dexter in a relationship, Estrada would also with killing his mother. How credible would two murderers be in the court of law? I say this, because there is absolutely nothing but circumstantial evidence on Dexter, all of which by no means shows he is a serial killer. Okay so his brother became a serial killer? So what, he was also older than Dexter. The guy that was involved with his mothers shooting died, okay so a criminal that was heavily involved with drugs disappeared, It could be easily be turned around that Doaxes was trying to frame Dexter by getting rid of the guy involved with killing his mom. Doaxes was researching Dexter’s early life. Like i said, there is almost no evidence to link Dexter. Also, it would be hard for the police to actually prove the Bay Harbor Butcher is alive, there has been what? 2 deaths that they believe was him. A blood slide and a few unsolved cases. Nothing groundbreaking. Plus there is a season 8, so he obviously gets away. 3. Deb is obviously linked to some sort of knowledge of Dexter being the Bay Harbor Butcher, which implies that Hannah is either trying to use it as leverage or she has actually told the police. Seeing that the evidence is pretty much Hannah vs Dexter, i don’t see this going too far. Who would you believe? A forensics member that has helped solve several cases, or a women that has been involved in murdering a writer and trying to kill Deb.

Either way, i am sure the season finale will leave us wanting more. Sad to see there is only one season left. This is easily my favorite show of all time. Great cast, the plot makes you think. Just an amazing show.

I do feel sorry for Dexter and Hannah, because they could have been happy together. But it is hard to think about what future Dexter “deserves”… ah, complicated issues!

I also wonder if Estrada will be questioned and give up Dex. I hope they’ll do something clever about this – and I bet they will.
