Degrass Junior High, how I loved you

The popular Canadian series “Degrassi: The Next Generation” goes Hollywood in its first feature-length movie “Degrassi Goes Hollywood.” The movie debuted tonight on The N network. I’m just finding out about this now but I have very fond memories of “Degrassi Junior High” (the old version) being aired in my Home Economics class in 7th grade.

If you missed the debut at 8 pm/7 pm central (which you probably did, since it’s half over as of this blog posting), it airs again at 10 pm/9 pm central and midnight/11 pm central on The N. The story is that the Degrassi students travel to Los Angeles to score roles in a musical directed by actor Jason Mewes. Wait a second… Jason Mewes? As in the foul-mouthed half of Jay & Silent Bob. AWESOME. Starring Raymond Ablack, Dalmar Abuzeid, Lauren Collins, Nina Dobrev, Jake Epstein. Perez Hilton plays himself in a cameo. Awesome squared.
