Last week Hines Ward and Kym Johnson did spectacularly. This week on Dancing with the Stars 2011, the pair was asked to dance the quickstep. “We’ve gotta get your feet sharper,” Len told Ward in rehearsals. And did it happen? I think so.

This was such a fun dance to watch. They were “Puttin’ on the Ritz” so to speak. (That was their song.) And it really did look like Hines’ footwork was crisper. This was one of my favorite performances of the entire Dancing with the Stars season 12! Bruno and Carrie Ann loved the performance, but Len was grumpy about it.

Len – “The best dancer is gonna win a mirror ball trophy. For me, it’s not quite there yet. This competition is still anyone’s to win or lose.”

Bruno – “It was like watching a mega production on Broadway – full of excitement!”

Carrie Ann – “That was so much fun. When you dance, you are able to make it feel like you’re running for a touchdown.”

Hines and Kym’s score was 29/30, not too shabby as a DWTS 2011 finals score, huh?
