The first webclip for The CW’s Hellcats focuses on the dancing the group has done, and no doubt they’ve been practicing tons. But as I feared, the show is feeling extra cheesy to me. Tom Welling is the one who signed on to produce this show, and I gotta wonder…why?! While Hayden Panettiere is/was producing a show on The CW, it’s not this one – but one called HMS about Harvard Medical school.

While I’ve always wanted a Bring it On type of show on TV, Hellcats seems more like one of the bad sequels to the movie. The best bet for this show is that people love the main actresses Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka.
