Fandom Charities Inc. and Whedonopolis.com have teamed up to prepare a MAJOR online auction to raise money to benefit literacy and fan-based charities (awww). They will be auctioning off autographed one-of-a-kind pieces that fans will love to own, so you should check this stuff out! The autographed “Once More with Feeling” poster is beautiful.

Whedonopolis/Fandom Charities is offering a 27”x40” event poster,
signed by Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle), Joss Whedon (Buffy The
Vampire Slayer, Firefly), Zack Whedon (Dollhouse), Maurissa Tancharoen
(Dollhouse) and Felicia Day (Dollhouse, The Guild), as well as Guild

With the acclaimed Buffy The Vampire Slayer musical episode becoming
the signature closing event for the San Diego Comic-Con,
Whedonopolis/Fandom Charities reached out to Buffy and Angel alumnus
for their support and received autographs from Joss Whedon, Amber
Benson, Juliet Landau, Felicia Day, David Fury, Jane Espenson, Camden
Toy, Doug Jones, Scott Tipton and Brian Lynch, making this 24”x36”
commemorative poster a true collector’s item.

Autographed First Edition Book “The Softwire: Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3” by PJ Haarsma:
Author PJ Haarsma is co-founder (with Nathan Fillion) of the
children’s literacy charity Kids Need To Read and has donated a
hardcover first edition of his youth science-fiction novel “The
Softwire: Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3”, signed by the author as well
as Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle) and Alan Tudyk (Firefly,
Dollhouse).

Info to know: Auctions are being sold under the eBay seller name fandomcharitiesinc. All four auctions will close on April 8, 2010 and proceeds raised will go toward Kids Need to Read (www.kidsneedtoread.org) and future Fandom Charities fundraising events.

Whedonopolis will present an encore of their acclaimed Buffy The Vampire Slayer audience participation event, “Once More With Feeling”at WonderCon 2010 in San Francisco on Sunday, April 4.
