‘Lost’ Friends with Purpose: Claire Littleton and Kate Austen

Claire Littleton and Kate Austen (Emilie de Ravin and Evangeline Lily, respectively) formed a friendship on the mystical LOST island, and through the side flashes we were able to see they were still two girls who were able to forge bonds and stick up for each other. Kate is the one who delivered Claire’s baby. And though Claire (infected with the sickness and driven crazy having been left alone without her baby) once tried to kill Kate – I like to think these two have one of the most special friendships and connections that we’ve witnessed on Lost.

As we grow closer to the end of Lost, I’m getting all kinds of sappy.
