Operation Wedded Bliss: will Chuck and Sarah finally become Mr. and Mrs. Superspy? Season Four’s 24 laugh- and action-filled episodes include the duo’s romance from proposal to planning to the big day. Yes, Chuck’s in love, but he has more than romance (and the Intersect) on his mind. His mom comes in from the cold, escaping the evil control of an international arms dealer to become part of the Nerd Herder-turned-spy’s life – and making it even tougher for Chuck to keep his professional and personal worlds separate. On some days, Chuck outwits assassins and out-martial-arts hordes of black-clad bad guys. On others, he pursues Sarah and prepares to become a doting uncle. On most days, he does it all!
Chuck Season 5 Premiere Preparation! Chuck Season 4 by the Numbers
5 – The number of Chuck season 4 DVD Extras (Blu-Ray has 6!)
3 – The number of Chuck episodes Zachary Levi has directed (counting an episode of season 5 that we’ve yet to see air. But be prepared! It will air on December 2nd.)
24 – The number of episodes included in Chuck season 4.
13 – The number of episodes that will be included for Chuck season 5, unless NBC decides to give fans a holiday miracle and give them the back 9, as well. (C’mon NBC! Quality over quantity.)
28 – The number for the date of October when Chuck season 5 premiere begins.
78 – The number of episodes from Chuck season 1 through the end of Chuck season 4.
3 – The range of genres listed for the show by IMDB. Tell your friends that if they like comedy, action, drama (or romance!) that they should give this show a try.
7 – The number of episodes that Matt Bomer appeared in as Bryce Larkin. To this day, fans still keep asking for flashbacks to include Bomer back in an episode. And while Bomer is pretty busy with his new hit USA Network show White Collar (and c’mon, Bryce is dead!) Bomer’s costar, Tim DeKay, will appear in season 5.
1 – Sadly, the only number of times Yvonne Strahovski bellydances as Sarah Walker
2 – Number of times Chuck and Morgan use the plan for what they did in Tangiers aka “RUN”. (California and Moscow.)
1 – Number of times Morgan tells Chuck to lube up his chest with baby oil.
Practically countless – The number of famous, awesome guest stars to appear on Chuck. This includes Chevy Chase, Rachel Bilson, Nicole Richie, Steve Austin, Kristen Kreuk, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Hamilton, Ray Wise, Timothy Dalton…
Priceless – This part is cheesy, so you know I have to include it no matter what. The friendships and connections that Chuck fans have made with each other, the encouragement offered toward the self- acceptance of full on nerd tendencies (via Zachary Levi and The Nerd Machine), the creative (yes, sometimes crushworthy) inspiration provided by the cast and crew who fought to make this show about an average guy, the charitable organizations that have been highlighted, the giddy feelings when attending a con or having someone affiliated with the show tweet at you, the fanvids that were made, the fanfiction that was slaved over, the quotes made into bumper stickers… these are the things that made Chuck have a soul. And despite what the ratings numbers will tell you, Chuck is beloved by more fans, in more ways, than the network will ever know.
