On Friday, December 23 tune in to The CW for two Christmas Specials. First up at 8 pm ET/PT there’s Olive, the Other Reindeer. Voiced by Drew Barrymore, Olive the dog tries to help Santa deliver gifts. Then at 9 pm ET/PT there’s Grandma Got Over by a Reindeer, based on the familiar song.

A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL WITH THE VOICES OF DREW BARRYMORE, DAN CASTELLANETA, JOE PANTOLIANO AND EDWARD ASNER── After mis-hearing a radio broadcast about Santa canceling his Christmas trip due to an injured reindeer, Olive the dog decides to travel to the North Pole and volunteer to be a replacement. Unfortunately, Olive must deal with an evil postman who’s tired of handling all the extra Christmas mail. Will Martini the penguin be able to help Olive realize her dream? The special was directed by Steve Moore.

A CHRISTMAS SPECIAL BASED ON THE HIT HOLIDAY SONG ── Based on the hit song that became a worldwide holiday phenomenon, this goofy and heartwarming adventure features young Jake Spankenheimer on the quest of a lifetime to track his missing Grandma down on Christmas Eve and prove that Santa Claus is indeed real. Michele Lee (“Knots Landing”) provides the voice of Jake’s greedy Cousin Mel and recording artist Elmo Shropshire provides the narration.
