1. You will be cast and protrayed 100% in negative light.
Reason
because this fits perfectly within “racial acceptable norms in society”
Guess who the number one buyers of rap are.
2. You will never win at this.
when have minority been put in theses reality show were the numbers are in your favor?
3. If you are a black woman you will be displayed as a slut and crazy.

Summary why put yourself in the situration
for this nonsense? Just so these reality shows can say they were being inclusive when the are really not.

1) I’ll give you one example: Big Brother 1′s most respectable and intelligent house guest was Cassandra, an African-American woman. I was always amazed that she took time off from her job at the UN to join the show that summer but I was glad she did because she was a wonderful addition.

2) Jun Song, season 4. Minority woman beat out the blonde hair, blued eyed girl. Keep trying.

Sadly I agree with Ya Mama.. We have seen all too often how WE are acting and portrayed on these “reality” shows. It seems only fair that we assume the role that “America” has picked us out to play. Prime example–I have a friend who threw a BB watch party for the first show when a few of my friends (who are white) saw Chima, their reactions overflowed with how “bitchy” she looked. Chima is a bitch don’t get me wrong but am I upset because they said it, NO. I am upset because yet again ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN PLAYED “THE PART”.

Chima thought all should respect her but she showed No one any kind of respect, she terrorized and threatened the houseguests into doing what she wanted done. The conclusion that the reaction to Chima is a race issue is as ridiculous a response as could be expected. There are three houseguests who are considered “of color”. Kevin is a smart player and respected, Natalie is conniving liar, who hasn’t “lied to anybody” (I’m saying I’m 18, but I’m really 24), and Chima is (was) an angry, hateful, disrespecting bitch. On the other hand, Lydia (not of color) is an angry, hateful, disrespecting bitch. Where are the racist comments about her? Thirteen people get placed in a pressure cooker environment, with no outside stimulation, no reading material, and no news. Lying and backstabbing is acceptable game behavior. Refusing to play by the rules is not…black, white, yellow, brown, or green!

Playing the race card is pathetic. White people are the minority in the world and colored people are not. I am so fed up with people using ‘racist’ as an excuse for anything. Back on topic, this show brings out all the negativity of a person. Some people can handle the garbage that is dished out everyday in such a show as no one is your friend as it is a game and obviously Chima couldn’t. Which isn’t saying anything bad about her character in anyway. I am sure she is great person but the show obviously attempted and had done painted her in a bad way. That is why this show is in its 11th season and why we continuse to watch it. There are some on that show or 2 people at least that lack any kind of intellect with the initials J & J. It’s like watching Dumb & Dumber. Painful to watch.

In life only small children throw fits and get what they want. Chima didnt get what she wanted and choose to throw one huge fit. No-one put her into the Bitch catagory but herself. BB Douglas, the story she told about the attack was totally true. You can look it up. Her name is Chima Simone, it happened in Texas, the attacker raped and murdered two other women and I believe Chima was the only one to survive her attack. He was put to death a few years ago.

i’ve watched the show and the AD shows…it’s amzaing to me the way Russell was allowed to go around the house and “terroize” almost e’ry one in there, yet most of the posts and blogs I’ve read have totally “swept Russell’s antics under the rug.”

This show has turned into a truly hateful one. In the beginning it was all about strategy and now it’s more about the ugliest displays of human nature. Could it be that this is the result of the past years of seeing this kind of behavior in our own government? The applicants for this show have gotten dumber and dumber and it has become painful to watch. I don’t think it’s plausible to keep screaming that it’s just editing that shows people in a negative light. Editing can really only highlight so much. People like chima are what they are— crazy. Producers look for the crazies as they provide drama. Audiences want to watch crazy contestants who create drama so they can feel better about their own lives and their own actions.
Chima carries on about being a survivor. But what kind of survivor is she? She admits in her statement that she quit because a never before seen power was used in the game which rendered her HOH power useless. Instead of fighting, she up and quit because she didn’t get her way. Good riddance to her whiney ass. I wish she could have been more of the smart strong women that she started off day one being, however the pressure wrecked her and her true self came out.
