Best Hoax on TV This Week…

TV Guide has listed the best hoax this one pulled by (naturally) Barney Stinson (HIMYM)! Frankly, I’d be surprised if there’s no real guys/gals out there who have put fake info about themselves out there for other people to google. Or am I really the only one who is proud to be in the Guiness Book of World records for the fast drinking of a slushie upside down in the Atlantic Ocean?

When you google Mr. Von Matterhorn you find a very short interview on The Balloon Explorers Club with Lorenzo where he says, “I always have time for my favorite balloon explorers club.” He also tells a nice story, ” … I don’t mean to boast or anything, but the sound that came out of that horn was enchanting. The hyenas immediately just froze where they stood, hypnotized by the music. When I was finally done playing, the hyenas approached me with kindness in their eyes and ushered me into their den.”

Best Hoax: How I Met Your Mother’s Barney unveils his Playbook, a leather-bound collection of his greatest scams to woo the ladies. Taking the cake is “the Lorenzo von Matterhorn,” a famous fake alias backed up by a series of online articles Barney created to tout Lorenzo’s various business ventures and his battle with phallumegaly, or big penis disorder.
