‘Below Deck’ Tell All Recap – Charlie Sheen gave me this bathrobe
| September 10, 2013 at 1:05 AM EDTAttention all Honor crew, let’s get to it! We’ve got all the secrets and oddball trivia that Below Deck fans want.

I was an early supporter of this Bravo show, and am so pleased that there will be a second season.
As readers also know, I have always been a fan of Adrienne Gang for being such a responsible, smart worker. I quickly learned I was also a big fan of the sweet (and witty!) Ben Robinson, Dave Bradberry and Eddie Lucas. Alex Taldykin never rubbed me the wrong way (although I’ve been misspelling it as ‘Aleks’ the whole time…), and I respect him a lot. For a long while I thought Kat Held was too much of a party girl… but she’s grown so much that I truly believe in her. (If you’re on twitter, you’ll see I tweeted exactly that out to her, and she did respond happily.)
Now, let’s just get this out of the way… I have no love or respect for Sam Orme or C.J. Lebeau.
Below Deck Tell All Recap … what we learned…
When Kat asked to borrow a condom from Alex, he gave her a Magnum. Sam and Kat never found out if that was accurate.
“I can’t be with CJ because he belongs in a psych ward. So he’s out.” – Kat Held
Johnny Eyelash wore a bathrobe given to him by Charlie Sheen. Apparently Sheen likes to wear pajamas, and clothes get on his nerves.
Dave was compared to Chakra from Land of the Lost, by Johnny Eyelash. But even he knew that CJ was “the worst.”
Some of the crew (Kat, Dave, Adrienne) played charades for the hypnotist guests. (Were they a poly-amorous cult? Adrienne and Ben say they just don’t know.)
Kat had to babysit a Hermit Crab for a guest. Sweetly, Kat really felt for the crab and kept insisting they had to feed him and put him in a bigger bowl. Adrienne let me down by saying it was fine in a shallow dish with nothing in it. Poor crab!
Kat and Sam both agreed that “Adrienne didn’t pull her weight” on the boat.
Adrienne makes a lot of lists. (Which I do, too! How else are you supposed to stay organized and productive?)
Captain Lee had little “verbiages” …or dictionary of zings.
A sleepy (or buzzed?) Ben and Sam had a late night bonding talk.
There was never not something to do on the boat, especially as water marks were not allowed.
Dave praised how Eddie was so hilarious and “kept the season light” … sadly not the season of the show, as Bravo didn’t give Eddie or Dave the screen time they deserved! Instead, we got CJ. Ugh.
Kat was electrocuted while vacuuming. She flew back, it was intense!
Sam using a flashlight to tell a story to Kat about guests…it finally made me see her humor and smile. I wish she’d just had a more positive, happy attitude on more of the show. She just made it so hard for me to like her.
Ben had hilarious moments in talking about the dog he had to feed. The dog, btw, eats fancier stuff than me. Whaaaaat.
Lee had to talk with Sam about how she was acting with Adrienne. Captain said Adrienne should work with Sam, not make her feel like she was working for her. But the one thing Adrienne could never let go of was that she was higher than Sam, and had done her grunt work already. Which is totally fair. For Sam to say she can’t work well because Adrienne won’t do some of Sam’s workload… ha.
Sam said she would never work with Adrienne again.
For the last crew dinner, Adrienne got tipsy and sexual with people. Probably a little too familiar with the Captain…. (Eddie and Dave need to host a talk show or web series, btw… I loved how they would comment together during this all.) The reason Adrienne probably let loose SO much because she was working so hard and staying tightly-wound when she had to be professional… and then when they were done she could exhale and have fun for the first time. I get this because I am the same way. Work hard, play hard. It just makes sense.
Ben wore Adrienne’s blue dress, once.
CJ and Sam did not talk about their hook-up’s.
