Anya Ayoung-Chee has been a top contender during all of Project Runway season 9. There was very little doubt to viewers that we’d see her at fashion week. So let’s take a look at what made us believers.

Guest Judge: Erin Wasson

In episode 5, there was the sporty challenge. Ayoung-Chee presented this printed maxi dress. This is definitely what a casual, modern girl would wear.

Guest Judges: Rachel Roy and Rose Bryne

Episode 7 had the designers use prints they’d created themselves, and Anya created a super cool dress.

Guest Judge: Malin Akerman

Creating a sophisticated and artsy dress for a gallery owner in episode 8 proved that Anya’s work with patterns would always be strong.

Guest Judge: Olivia Palermo

Episode 10 is when Anya accidentally lost all of her money. But she still managed to “make it work.”This is just one of two looks, and actually the one I preferred over the other.

Guest Judge: Zoe Saldana

Episode 12 meant it was time for 3 looks. No patterns from Anya, this time. With one of the looks we got a tall white column dress which was very modern.
