Cat Deely was the host last night, but hardly got any screen time. Consider this her one shout-out.
Tyra Banks is not done trying to get young girls to buy her book, Modelland. There, supermodels are called intoxibellas. And so, each ANTM British Invasion hopeful was given an intoxibella name. Some of these were okay, but a few were compelently ridiculous. (Such as: Next Doorisa for Kyle and 30 Never for Eboni.) See, Tyra Banks loves to make up her own words.
On the Americans vs Brits front, we don’t think we’re biased in thinking the British girls are being more catty than the Americans. (At least in this episode.) In the middle of the night several of the British girls went into the American room to throw balls of paper – especially at Seymone. When their target emerged, angry, they ganged up on her. Sure, Seymone overreacted and we suspect she’s hiding a multiple personality. But they had no right to mess up her beauty sleep and then blame her for being the jerk.
Kelly Cutrone is making the show better. Period.
The other most noteable item on the agenda is that one girl, Louise, eliminated herself.
So much of the America’s Next Top Model (cycle 18) comes down to whose personality we like, and whose pictures we like.
