"America's Got Talent" judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff

Tune in here at 9 pm/8 pm central for a live blog of the third week of results for “America’s  Got Talent” on NBC. There were just so many good acts last night, I can’t possibly decide who I want to go through.

After a needless recap of last night, we finally get down to business with some results. Man, there might actually be some suspense tonight.

The first pair brought down is Bri and Jeffrey Ou. Yikes. Out of these two, I guess I’d like to see Bri advance, but both are very talented. The one going through is Jeffrey Ou. WOW. I’m very surprised.

We now have a performance by “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale. I’m not sure I could come up with 10 people I care less about than Ashley Tisdale. Hmmm. I wish this was TIVO’d, I’d just “bloop bloop bloop” and get to more results.

Back to the results. Lawrence Beaman, Jay Mattioli and Dave Johnson are brought down. Well, this is easy. Lawrence Beaman is advancing and the other two are done. First we send Dave Johnson home. He should release his “David Hasselhoff” song on iTunes. Next we send Jay Mattioli home. Well, duh. Lawrence killed it last night and the other two were not that good. In fact, Jay was downright boring.

Next up is Marcus Terrell vs Mario & Jenny. This has to be Mario & Jenny, right? They are so Las Vegas, while Marcus Terrell is more like The Ed Sullivan Show. Also, I am struck by how much Marcus Terrell looks like Jar-Jar Binks.

We now have to sit through Daughtry performing “No Surprise.” I mean, that’s nice and stuff. I like Chris Daughtry’s voice, but I want to see results!

The next results group is G-Force, U4RIA and Hairo Torres. Wow, I don’t actually know who will advance between U4RIA and Hairo. They’re both very good. First we send G-Force home. Duh. Then U4RIA is sent home. Wow, I’m a bit surprised. I thought they were good. Oh well, Hairo is very good as well. That’s cool.

I just realized this leaves Footworkingz and Pixie Mystere. Wow, that surprises me. I’m actually SHOCKED Footworkingz ended up 5th or 6th in the voting. They were SO GOOD. Well, the Pixie girls are cute but they aren’t Las Vegas. It’s gotta be Footworkingz, right?

We go to the judges. Sharon goes with Footworkingz, saying that the Pixies have their whole lives ahead of them. Piers is torn because both of the groups are exceptionally talented. He then says that the act that has the best chance of winning (also saying that America has made some strange decisions tonight and I agree) and he votes for Footworkingz.  The Hoff says he would’ve also voted for Footworkingz. The Footworkingz go over and engulf the little Pixies, it’s so cute. Those little girls are trying so hard not to cry, awwww!

Well, that was an interesting night. Tune in next Tuesday for the last quarter-final round! Next week is African High Flyers, Barbara Padilla, Coney Island Chris, EriAm, Erik & Rickie, Ishaara, Matt & Anthony, Mia Boostrom, Pam Martin & Viva, Recycled Percussion and wild cards Drew Stevyns and Lollipop Girls.
