‘America’s Got Talent’ snags Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” premiere

NBC has gotten exclusive rights to premiere the video for the lead single off Mariah Carey’s new album “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” The song is called “Obsessed” and the video features the pop diva in drag, looking startlingly like rapper Eminem. It will debut on July 15th during the broadcast of “America’s Got Talent.”

“Obsessed” was written and produced by Mariah, The-Dream, and Tricky Stewart. “Memoirs” is Ms. Carey’s twelfth studio album (wow, she’s hung right in there, huh?) and is due in stores August 25th.

The fact that the world debut of her video is happening on “America’s Got Talent” is no big surprise, as her husband Nick Cannon is the new host.
