Jennifer Lopez has been part of a highly publicized power couple before, so it only makes sense that American Idol should capitalize on having a power couple of their own. But will it be Jacqueline Dunford and Nick Fink? (Ages 21 and 19, respectively.)

The pair from Scottsdale, Arizona auditioned together, and are boyfriend and girlfriend. They were both voted through, but probably only for the intense drama that will come when Dunford is cut and Fink stays.

Dunford sang “Mercy” and while she looked cute (like she’d walked out of an ad for Urban Outfitters with the theme “Lolita meets Heidi meets Lindsay Lohan”) her voice wasn’t the best of the best. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Fink sang “Sunday Morning” like a real star. We’d love to see more of him and hear his great voice.

So, instead of Bennifer, will we have … Dunfink? Nickeline? Time will tell. This pair may not be Brangelina yet, but maybe they’ll adopt puppies and Dunford will start wearing only black clothing everywhere she goes while Fink grows out a scuffy beard as best he can.
