AMERICAN IDOL Makeover Magic and Trickery

If you ever wondered if the American Idol contestants got to keep the clothing and accessories they wear for their stage performances, now you’ll know. While it’s no secret that some glam squad takes over the contestants looks makeup/hair wise, did you realize how much effort is put into what they wear? As far as I can tell, they still get to decide what they like – but they have helpers, and designer clothing brought in for them to pick from.

Kinda takes away from the judges lame-I-have-nothing-else-nice-to-say compliment of  “I really like what you’re wearing” when they may not have even picked it out.
