Amber Riley is a Blue Beauty

Amber Riley of GLEE fame stepped onto the red carpet for the 41st annual NAACP awards on Friday night. I’ve just gotten around to seeing pictures of that event. Riley’s gown was blue and by Tadashi Shoji. The pleating on the gown was very complimentary to her figure. And she had a big smile on her face, another plus.

But the thing I take issue with? Her stylist had her break one of those cardinal make-up rules…you never, ever, match your clothing’s color identically to your eye shadow. (A lighter/darker shade of a color can sometimes work, and matching lip/dress is okay. But eyeshadow – no!)
