A Glee DVD Giveaway! (Plus: A John Mayer & Glee Bromance Proposal)
| September 8, 2010 at 8:31 PM EDTWhen asked if I wanted to host a giveaway for three people to walk away with special Gleek Edition’s of The Complete First Season of Glee on DVD – what do you THINK I said? It’s only one of my favorite shows, and a show that I know just about everyone else with a pulse loves. (Sure, I know there are some hater’s of the show, but that’s what being a Gleek is all about. You have to rise above the Sue Sylvester’s of this world!)
The trivia question to enter the contest really kind of tickles me because it involves John Mayer, and well – I frickin’ adore JMay! He’s hilarious, and I wish that VH1 reality show of his had gone through. I could read his alarmingly insightful (and sometimes deliciously dirty) tweets all day…. *dreamy sigh, doodles unicorns and hearts* Have I found ways to talk about John Mayer on this TV site before? Well, I don’t know, I mean, he’s kind of on TV sometimes, and I’m sure he watches TV. So, in conclusion. …Time for Glee!
I’ve been asked to host the giveaway on another site, but I wanted to make sure and get the word out and share it with you Small Screen Scoopers! Anyone can enter. Except John Mayer.*
Win a Copy of the Complete First Season of Glee – The “GLEEK” Edition! You can find the giveaway right here: Glee DVD Giveaway
*Unless Mayer tells us which of his songs he’d want the Gleek’s to cover. Or, which of the Glee members he’d want a bromance with. (I think he’d pick Artie or …actually, Sue. She likes track suits, and he loves Nike sneakers. Ideas of perfection have never been so hilarious.)
‘Gleeks’ and ‘Cheerios’ worldwide will celebrate September 14 when the groundbreaking musical comedy – GLEE: The Complete First Season “The GLEEK Edition” – debuts on Blu-ray and DVD from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

Send your friends and loved ones to detention with the nefarious Sue
Once in detention, Sue begins to berate the friend, nonstop and without fail. Their picture will begin to deteriorate as Sue’s lecture goes on and eventually evaporate into dust. During the lecture, they will not be able to navigate away until the detention period has ended. They will be able to shoot spitwads at Sue, but beware, if they hit her in the head, it extends Detention!
